EL-NE Elektrotechnik GmbH
Your competent partner for busbar-systems and brass terminals.
We manufacture busbar systems suitable for all commercial line protection switch products including ABB,
Hager, Legrand, EATON-Moeller, Schneider Electric and Siemens. Our line of products is rounded off by special
conductors, earthing terminals and neutral terminal strips in various designs as well as matching accessories.
All products are tested according to the pertinent European standards and have the ÖVE test mark. EL-NE is
certified according to EN ISO 9001.
Quality awareness and short delivery times are the cornerstones of our company, founded by Karl Neubacher in
1960. While still teaching at the Salzburg School of Engineering he hoped to use his knowledge and skill in finding
solutions to electro-technical problems in a company of his own.
Developing from a humble beginning without larger sources of capital but with a feel for new developments, Karl
Neubacher and his small team founded EL-NE Elektrotechnik in Salzburg.
Several patents were registered, the company‘s head office was moved to Hallein and enlarged to meet the
demand for EL-NE products. The medium-sized company became well-established over the years, earning itself an
outstanding reputation in the industry, with wholesalers and also with the electricians who installed the products
for the end customers.
Our employees – a highly-motivated team with technical know-how and enthusiasm for their job – have state-of-
the-art machinery at their disposal for modern and efficient production.
The development and implementation of custom-tailored customer solutions with a professional, innovative
and economical approach and the highest level of quality awareness have shaped our company philosophy and
